Stamp Duty  Estimates for Existing Clients

If you have received an estimate from us showing a figure payable for Stamp Duty and the extended Stamp Duty holiday announced in the budget would apply, we will not send a revised estimate.

If completion of your purchase takes place by 30th June and your purchase is for a main residence under £500,000 in value then the Stamp Duty will not be payable and will be reflected in the completion statement we will send you prior to completion.

If you complete before 31st August and the value of your purchase is under £250,000 then the base rate increase in the tax free amount will be applied to your purchase.

Any relevant discounts to which you are entitled will be calculated and applied on your completion statement.

Please note the rules of payment of additional Stamp Duty have not changed if you are buying a second home or investment property.
